[What You Will Do]
• Serve as a first point of contact for several Red Hat OpenShift Engineering teams from either our support team or any of a number of outward-facing groups
• Track raised issues until they are resolved
• Proactively test the involved technologies and known and planned use cases; experiment and provide proof-of-concept demonstrations
• Prior to each release, ensure that internal users from the Field, Support, and Sales teams have access to knowledge and training on usage
• Play an active role in researching and then integrating various Kubernetes and KVM features into a unified solution; your daily activities will include deploying, automating, demonstrating, troubleshooting, and documenting integrations
• Develop and integrate changes in multiple projects to troubleshoot, analyze bugs, determine root causes, and provide resolutions
• Track suggestions and bug fixes until they are merged back with the offering
• Review and validate design and enhancement proposals and patches from other members
• Work with the Quality Engineering (QE) team to ensure effective test coverage
• Publicize your work through blogs, web postings, or conference talks

자격요건

[What You Will Bring]
• Proven experience working in system engineering and DevOps in a related field
• Experience with automation tools or scripting languages like Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Bash, or Python
• Proficiency in Linux operation and administration
• Experience with container-related technologies like Docker, Podman, cri-o, or etcd
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Familiarity with open source projects and related collaboration tools, e.g., Git workflows
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

우대사항

[The Following Are Considered a Plus]
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent working experience
• Record of leading or contributing to open source communities
• Experience working within an agile development framework
• Comfortable providing support and knowledge transfer for other teams as they onboard with new technologies that you are familiar with
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Open vSwitch (OVS), and Open Virtual Network (OVN)
• Experience with Red Hat Virtualization
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification or equivalent Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) knowledge
• Experience with continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) systems
• Experience with automation tools or scripting languages like Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Bash, or Python
• Experience with a programming language like Go, Python, Java, C, or C++
• Experience with networking technology (server, switch, or appliance configuration), key networking protocols, tunneling technologies, switching, and routing
• Familiarity or experience with telco technologies like 5G, RAN, etc.
